Convoy™ events are ideal for:

Pubs, clubs, hotels & bars, Charity fund-raising events, Corporate events, Private parties, and many, many more. We offer four types of event depending on your requirements. Talk to us to discuss which type is best for you.

Experience

Individuals will play convoy™ games just for fun e.g. entertainment at a private dinner party or a corporate event.

Tournament

Consists of five games.
Players who win a minimum of 3 games in the first round progress to round 2.
In the event no player wins 3 games, players who win 2 games will progress to round 2.
In the event no player wins 2 games players who win 1 game will progress to round 2.
In the unlikely event only 1 player wins 1 game there is no need for round 2 and that player will win the tournament.

Round 2

Round 2 is a knockout round.
Each player continues to play a game until they are defeated and they are knocked out.
The winner of the tournament is the player who wins the final game.

A player may be enrolled in more than one tournament at a time. One player from each tournament will win the prize.

Individual

Individual events are played for prizes which are supplied by the client.

Each player is allowed a set number of games (this is determined at the event typically about 10) they are then scored on the outcome of each game.

25 points for playing a game, 50 points for losing a game, 100 points for drawing in a game, 500 points for winning a game.

At the end of the event prizes will be awarded for the players with the most points e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Team

Team events are played for prizes which are supplied by the client.

Each event is split into a set number of sessions (typically five) for duration of 25 minutes allowing a maximum of 10 games per session.

Games are played by 4 players, split into teams of two.

At the end of each session the team with the blue counters from each table will move to another table and then be replaced, thus enabling players to integrate throughout the event.

Teams will accrue points from games during each session throughout the event, with prizes given at the end for the most points e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Scoring:

500 points for winning a game, 100 points for drawing in a game, 50 points for losing a game, 25 points for playing a game.
